Niger Foods, a state-owned enterprise leading the agricultural revolution under Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago, recently organized a week-long training in Minna on the effective use of farming equipment to enhance agricultural mechanization.

The program, attended by 150 participants from all 25 local government areas, aimed to equip operators with the necessary skills for optimal equipment use. Dr. Eric Alawo, head of the trainers, emphasized the importance of mechanization in the state’s agricultural policy. Abdulhakim Oluwaseun, Personal Assistant to the Chairman, highlighted that participants included experienced operators from reputable companies like John Deere and retired tractor operators from the Civil Service.!
