Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has launched the 2024 sales and distribution of fertilizer and other agricultural inputs at the Farm Center in Minna. The state government has subsidized fertilizer prices by 50% to ensure affordability, as part of its focus on enhancing agricultural productivity under the New Niger Agenda.
Significant progress has been made in providing tractors, harvesters, and equipment to support small-scale farmers, aiming to boost food security, reduce costs, and tackle youth unemployment. The Governor also expressed gratitude to development partners and the private sector for their support of the state’s agricultural revolution.
